The fun of Hauora

In Te Maunga we have been doing Hauora. I learned that  bugs are healthy and have protein. I also learnt that there are only 13 bugs you can eat in New Zealand. Have you ever had a bug? I have learnt from this that bugs are better than I thought.

The Amazing Team building!

In Te Maunga we are learning team building. We did things like balancing a ruler on your thumb and you had to take it to the ground. I learnt that heavier things will take you down to the ground easier if you were balancing a ruler on your hand. Have you ever done this?

The Amazing Research Project

In Te Maunga we have been doing Research about animals. We had to be in groups so I chose Heavenly for my partner. We did it about a gorilla because we hardly knew anything about them so we found some new things out that day. My favourite part was finding the pictures because there were some funny ones. I learnt how to make a research project so you can find out things you want to know.

The Amazing character description

In Te Maunga we did character description. I learnt some new words like shriveled, fearsome and ghastly. After we did the slides we got to draw a character from the story, one from a movie we liked and a made up one. My favourite part was drawing all of those things. It was fun. I tried hard to get all of my work done in time for maker space and I did.

Amazing trip to the Shops to learn to be healthy!

In Te Maunga we did food for thought. I learnt that Fruit Loops had a lot of sugar in it. I also learnt Coco Pops were a two rated star as well as Fruit Loops. My favorite part about food for thought was going to Countdown to see the healthy things and unhealthy things. I learn for this that I always check the fat total and sugar limit.
