The Amazing Sea life!

In Te Maunga we learn about sea life. I learnt that jellyfish don't have a brain. I also learnt that there are no snakes in New Zealand but there are sea snakes. We did some activities like making sea horses and trying to get out the oil spill. I learnt that oil spills can kill the animals. Have you ever seen a sea snake?

Amazing trip to the Shops to learn to be healthy!

In Te Maunga we did food for thought. I learnt that Fruit Loops had a lot of sugar in it. I also learnt Coco Pops were a two rated star as well as Fruit Loops. My favorite part about food for thought was going to Countdown to see the healthy things and unhealthy things. I learn for this that I always check the fat total and sugar limit.

The Amazing Auction!

In Te Maunga we did an auction for Easter. I learnt to subtract big numbers from the school money I earnt. My favourite part of that day was getting 4 chocolates. When I got home there are some people that lived in a car near my street and I gave them some of the things I got.

Maunga art.

In Te Maunga we have been learning about how to draw Maunga. I searched up Puhipuhi because that's my Maunga and drew it. I enjoyed colouring in the Maunga the most because I love drawing and colouring in. I tried to keep focus on my work so I could get it done.

Cricket

In Te Maunga we have been learning cricket. A guy called Neal told us how to play cricket. I learned how to hit the ball with the bat. First we had a warm up. The warm up was we had to get in a group of two and one person had to hit the ball and the other person threw the ball and had to catch it.

Have you played cricket before?
