The Amazing Measurement DLO😁

In Te Maunga we have been making measurement DLO’s. I learnt about perimeters. Perimeters are the outside of shapes. My favourite part was taking the pictures of my work and watching the maths videos. I have learnt from this that you can learn anything about measurement just by watching a video.

Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori.🤯

In Te Maunga we have been learning about Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori. I learnt mostly all colours in Maori for Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori. The one thing I loved doing was putting in the codes to get a prize. I learnt from this that you can learn a lot by using Maori books, codes and videos.

The boring but amazing lockdown

At home when I was in lockdown I was very bored but got to do some home fun things with my family. ( By family I mean my mum, dad, sister, cat and grandparents.) One of the things I did was making art, making my own pizza for a class meeting and also opening up an old baby monitor to see what was inside. In lockdown I went on the beach and found a rock with 3 red lines in it so I researched it and it was called a devil's rock. What did you do in
??

The exciting Nano girl

In Te Maunga we saw Nanogirl and she talked and showed science. It was so cool because she made her hands on fire just by using a lighter, one bowl of water and a bowl on soapy water and then put the lighter on and made fire. I learnt that if you swing something very fast with a water cup in it, no water will fall out. I have learnt from using recyclable things that I can make anything.

Doritos Research!

In Te Maunga we have been doing research projects. We learnt about how Doritos are made and things about animals. I enjoyed searching the pictures up because they look really cool. I also learnt that Doritos were first made in 1954.to think to keep me focused on my work is to stop talking and do a lot more work.

Exciting Matariki

In Te Maunga we have been learning Matariki. We read stories to find information about Matariki. I learnt that there are over 1 million stars in the sky. I also learnt that they eat mostly hangi and seafood. I have learnt that people love to celebrate Matariki.
