In Te Maunga we have been learning Film Making. The things my group learnt were acting professionally. My group was Kova-Rose, Henry, Harlow and Kyle. The thing I really enjoyed was watching the part we filmed. The thing that kept me going was keeping on track with my film. 😛

The Exciting PAL day!🤯
On the last day of term 3 we did PAL day on the field. We played Soccer, Dart Throwing, obstacles and threw little balls into nets. One thing I liked was doing the obstacles because I jumped over things and hula hooped and went through a net. The thing that was keeping me going was not thinking about winning but thinking about having fun.

The Amazing Measurement DLO😁
In Te Maunga we have been making measurement DLO’s. I learnt about perimeters. Perimeters are the outside of shapes. My favourite part was taking the pictures of my work and watching the maths videos. I have learnt from this that you can learn anything about measurement just by watching a video.

In Te Maunga we have been learning about Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori. I learnt mostly all colours in Maori for Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori. The one thing I loved doing was putting in the codes to get a prize. I learnt from this that you can learn a lot by using Maori books, codes and videos.

The exciting Nano girl
In Te Maunga we saw Nanogirl and she talked and showed science. It was so cool because she made her hands on fire just by using a lighter, one bowl of water and a bowl on soapy water and then put the lighter on and made fire. I learnt that if you swing something very fast with a water cup in it, no water will fall out. I have learnt from using recyclable things that I can make anything.
Doritos Research!
In Te Maunga we have been doing research projects. We learnt about how Doritos are made and things about animals. I enjoyed searching the pictures up because they look really cool. I also learnt that Doritos were first made in 1954.to think to keep me focused on my work is to stop talking and do a lot more work.

Exciting Matariki
In Te Maunga we have been learning Matariki. We read stories to find information about Matariki. I learnt that there are over 1 million stars in the sky. I also learnt that they eat mostly hangi and seafood. I have learnt that people love to celebrate Matariki.

MESUREMENT!
In Te Maunga we have been learning measurement. We did things like see the temperature of things and what the size is. When I saw the temperature of hot water it was 54’c. My favorite part was the water going higher in time. So I have learnt from this that hot water gets colder when you leave it out.
The really fun astronomy.
In Te Maunga we have been doing astronomy. We did things like read books and then fill them in the slides. After we filled in the slides we made a DLO about the Moon or the Stars. After the DLO you had to do an interview or an explanation. So I have learnt from this that the Moon and Stars are very important. Have you ever done a DLO about the moon or stars?

In Te Maunga we have been doing Hauora. I learned that bugs are healthy and have protein. I also learnt that there are only 13 bugs you can eat in New Zealand. Have you ever had a bug? I have learnt from this that bugs are better than I thought.

The Amazing Team building!
In Te Maunga we are learning team building. We did things like balancing a ruler on your thumb and you had to take it to the ground. I learnt that heavier things will take you down to the ground easier if you were balancing a ruler on your hand. Have you ever done this?

The Amazing Research Project
In Te Maunga we have been doing Research about animals. We had to be in groups so I chose Heavenly for my partner. We did it about a gorilla because we hardly knew anything about them so we found some new things out that day. My favourite part was finding the pictures because there were some funny ones. I learnt how to make a research project so you can find out things you want to know.

The Amazing character description
In Te Maunga we did character description. I learnt some new words like shriveled, fearsome and ghastly. After we did the slides we got to draw a character from the story, one from a movie we liked and a made up one. My favourite part was drawing all of those things. It was fun. I tried hard to get all of my work done in time for maker space and I did.

The Amazing Sea life!
In Te Maunga we learn about sea life. I learnt that jellyfish don't have a brain. I also learnt that there are no snakes in New Zealand but there are sea snakes. We did some activities like making sea horses and trying to get out the oil spill. I learnt that oil spills can kill the animals. Have you ever seen a sea snake?

Amazing trip to the Shops to learn to be healthy!
In Te Maunga we did food for thought. I learnt that Fruit Loops had a lot of sugar in it. I also learnt Coco Pops were a two rated star as well as Fruit Loops. My favorite part about food for thought was going to Countdown to see the healthy things and unhealthy things. I learn for this that I always check the fat total and sugar limit.

In Te Maunga we have been learning about how to draw Maunga. I searched up Puhipuhi because that's my Maunga and drew it. I enjoyed colouring in the Maunga the most because I love drawing and colouring in. I tried to keep focus on my work so I could get it done.
